In order to encourage and support the educational progress of Roma and other disadvantaged children, a monthly scholarship is awarded to about five talented children every year. The scholarship program was originally a project of the Baha'i community of Hungary but, since 2006, has been taken over and operated by the Unity in Diversity Foundation.

Pupils of underpriviledged background in Hungary can apply and those who are selected receive a monthly stipend (presently 8500 ft) towards their schooling expenses. Applicants are required to have a grade average of at least 3.5 in their school work and a minimum of 4 in manners/discipline. For more information about how to apply, please visit the Hungarian menu on this site.
