The goals of the Foundation
The present Foundation wishes to support minorities and other disadvantaged groups living in Hungary.
The Foundation aims at creating a united cooperative society through educational, moral and social development programs for youths, and adults with special attention given to the groups from minorities and disadvantaged backgrounds in order to eliminate exclusion and facilitate their integration and inclusion in the larger society.
Through social undertakings the Foundation keeps contact with the minorities and underprivileged living in Hungary, discusses questions related to their situation, organizes informative education and, through these, supports families – the basic unit of society - and their integration and inclusion through education.
The Foundation wishes to support research, programs, established organizations (such as educational institutions, dance groups, arts workshops, etc.) dealing with minorities and underprivileged populations in Hungary, facilitating the creation of such institutions and organizations. Through such activities the Foundation gives special attention to the protection and preservation of culture among the minorities and the disadvantaged in Hungary, and supports existing programs and efforts towards these goals.
The Foundation will, in accordance with document 1997 CLVI. tv. §26., carry on the following public and social service activities:
- promote equal social opportunities for the disadvantaged
- social undertakings, family support and old age care
- activities related to national and ethnic minorities and those related to the Hungarian nation outside its borders
- moral education, capacity development, spread of knowledge
- children and youth protection and representing their interest
- scientific undertakings, research
- cultural activities
- cultural heritage preservation
- use services exclusively available to public service organizations
